Vol. 113 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pay for Road Workers.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether a resolution regarding an increase in pay for road workers has been received in his Department from the Dublin County Council; and, if so, when sanction for this increase will be granted.

No application for sanction to an increase in wages for road workers employed by Dublin County Council has been received in the Department.

I take it that when such application does reach the Department it will receive consideration?

A speedy decision will be given.

And sympathetic consideration?

And sympathetic consideration.

That is all we could ask for.
