Dáil Éireann debate -

Vol. 113 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - St. Anne's Estate Sewerage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has considered the suggestion put forward in the debate on the adjournment on the 25th November, 1948, for the speed up of work on the sewerage scheme that will serve the houses to be built on St. Anne's Estate, Dublin, and if he has yet come to any decision in the matter.

I have not yet had occasion to consider that suggestion further. My reply to Deputy Belton's question of the 24th November clearly indicated that only preliminary reports on the design of the scheme had yet been submitted to me by the local authority. When the work is ready to be put in hands all suggestions for its expeditious completion will be given due consideration.
