Vol. 114 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Demands of Forestry Workers.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether he has reached a decision on the demands served on the 20th December, 1948, by the Federation of Rural Workers on behalf of labourers employed by the Forestry Division of the Department of Lands.

I have communicated my decision on the matters referred to by the Deputy to the Federation of Rural Workers.

In view of the dissatisfaction which exists amongst forestry workers throughout the country with the present position in relation to their wages, I propose, with your permission, Sir, to raise this matter on the Adjournment to-night.
