Vol. 114 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Disability Pension Claim.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he will state the reason why Mr. Charles Humber, 28 Roache's Terrace, Ballina, has not qualified for a disability pension in view of the fact that he is in very delicate health due to service in the I.R.A.; and, further, if he is prepared to have his case immediately reconsidered.

The application of Mr. Charles Humber, 28 Roache's Terrace, Ballina, for a special allowance was refused on the ground that he is not incapable of self-support by reason of permanent infirmity, and I regret that I have no power to reconsider his case before the 30th July, 1949.
