asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state in respect of each county (i) the number of applications for grants under the farm improvements scheme received; (ii) the number authorised, and (iii) the amounts covered by the grants authorised in the present year.

PARTICULARS of the number of applications received for grants under the Farm Improvements Scheme 1948/49, the number of those applications which have been authorised, and the amounts covered by the grants authorised in the present year are as follows:—
