asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if in connection with future industrial development the claims of towns hitherto neglected in this respect will receive prior consideration.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Industrial Development.
I have before me in the Department the claims made by representative bodies of close on 100 towns for special consideration to have industries established in their areas. The claims of these towns are brought to the notice of any persons who approach my Department with proposals for new industries. The matter of the location of new industries is one to which the new industrial development authority will give early consideration.
