Vol. 114 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ennis Fuel Supply.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce (a) if he is aware of the present fuel famine in Ennis; (b) what is the cause of the famine; and (c) what steps he proposes taking to make fuel available without further delay.

It has not been brought to my notice that there is a fuel famine in Ennis. If there is a shortage of fuel in Ennis, it is in the power of the fuel merchants to remedy the situation, as Fuel Importers, Limited, have stocks of coal, turf and timber for sale.
