Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Chairman of Irish Shipping, Limited.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the terms of appointment, including remuneration, of the chairman of Irish Shipping, Limited.

The terms of appointment of the present holder of the office of chairman of Irish Shipping, Limited, require him to devote to the performance of the duties of that office as much time as shall be necessary for their proper and efficient discharge and as the due transaction of the business of the company shall require. Moreover, the appointment is subject to the provisions of the company's articles of association.

The remuneration has been determined at £750 a year.
