Vol. 115 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rush Harbour Improvement.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he has yet decided to make a grant for the improvement of Rush Harbour.

So far as the improvements contemplated at Rush Harbour relate to clearance by excavation or dredging, I now find myself in a position to recommend the making of a contribution by the State towards the outlay involved, and am having representations made accordingly. As regards the structural work proposed, I would prefer to await the outcome of certain suggested experimental arrangements before deciding whether a contribution could be justified in respect of such work.
