It was recommended by the Committee on Procedure and Privileges that for the forthcoming fortnight, in order to expedite progress of business, the days and hours of sitting of the House should be as follows:—Tuesday, 24th May, 3 p.m. to 12 midnight; Wednesday, 25th May, 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. (questions to be taken at 3 p.m.); Thursday, 26th May, and Friday, 27th May, no sitting; Tuesday, 31st May, Wednesday, 1st June, Thursday, 2nd June, 3 p.m. to 12 midnight. The position to be reviewed at a further meeting of the Committee on Thursday, 2nd June.
