Vol. 115 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Industrial Development Authority.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will indicate the reasons for the delay in formally establishing the Industrial Development Authority in view of the fact that almost three months have elapsed since it was officially announced in the Press that certain persons had been invited to accept and had accepted membership of the authority.

There has been no avoidable delay in setting up the Industrial Development Authority which has now commenced work.

Will the Minister say when the vacancy on the authority will be filled?

That is a matter I shall have to consider at a later stage.
