Vol. 116 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Milk Delivery Difficulty—North Kerry.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he is aware that a number of farmers resident in the Kilfeighney electoral division, North Kerry, have to travel distances of four and five miles to deliver their milk at the Kilflynn creamery; and, if so, whether he will have the position investigated with a view to granting such facilities as will remove this great hardship.

The Kilflynn cream-separating station is operated by the Abbeydorney Co-operative Dairy Society, Limited, and the provision of facilities for the collection of milk from the farmers in the Kilfeighney district is a matter for arrangement between the society and the farmers concerned.
