I am not clear from the terms of his question what information precisely the Deputy desires. The Estimate for Public Works and Buildings for the current financial year includes a provision of £18,520 for the general maintenance of the harbour. In addition, a provision of £1,500 has been made to meet the balance of the cost of £2,000 for necessary improvements to the mail boat pier to suit the new mail steamers.
