Vol. 116 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dollars for Ammunition.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will consider allocating American dollars for the importation of .22 rifle ammunition to the usual importers of such ammunition, in view of the fact that English makers of this ammunition cannot supply it to this country and continenal prices are too high.

I am prepared, in present circumstances, to grant reasonable facilities for the importation from the dollar area of .22 rifle ammunition.
