The arrangements for the purchase by the children of the textbooks and school requisites used in different standards vary from school to school. I have no definite information on which a reliable estimate of the expenditure per head could be based. I am, however, having inquiries made in the matter and I shall communicate the information to the Deputy as soon as possible.
