Vol. 117 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wages of Forestry Employees.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that there is grave dissatisfaction among the employees of the Forestry Department in Dundrum, County Tipperary, by reason of the comparatively low rates of wages paid to them; and, if so, whether he will give favourable consideration to the suggestion that their wages be increased at an early date.

Forestry workers at Dundrum and elsewhere got an increase in wages this year. I am unable to alter the position.
