Vol. 117 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Train Service.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will ask Córas Iompair Éireann whether it would be possible to arrange for main line excursion trains arriving at Glanmire terminus, Cork, late at night, to stop at Kilbarry to facilitate excursionists residing in the north side of the city.

I am informed by Córas Iompair Éireann that they have not received any representations in this matter. I understand that there are no passenger platforms or other facilities at Kilbarry and that the proposal is not regarded as feasible.
