Vol. 117 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballybunion Creamery Needs.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware that the farmers of Ballybunion, and the surrounding district, are badly in need of a creamery; and, if so, whether it is his intention to have one erected here in the near future.

I am aware of the need for creamery facilities in the neighbourhood of Ballybunion, and I have already authorised the Dairy Disposal Company to proceed with arrangements for the erection of a new cream separating station in the district. I am confident that the station will be ready for operation at the beginning of next season.
