Vol. 117 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Military Service Pensions (County Sligo).

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state (i) the names and addresses of persons in County Sligo who were awarded military service pensions under the Military Service Pensions Acts, and (ii) the amounts awarded in each case.

A statement showing the names of persons resident in County Sligo who were awarded pensions under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1924, and the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934, together with the amount of pensions granted in each case, will be forwarded to the Deputy in the course of a few days. It is not the practice to furnish the addresses of such pensioners.

Will the Minister say if it would be possible to give this information in the Official Report?

If special application is made subsequently to have it in the Official Report it will be inserted, but at the moment I was replying to the question that I was asked.
