Vol. 118 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Moore Park Water Scheme.

asked the Minister for Finance whether his Department has entrusted the control of the Moore Park water scheme to Cork County Council; and, if not, whether he will ensure that this is done at once in order that the council may proceed with the extension of the water supply to the houses of seven families residing in council houses at Monadrishane, Kilworth.

The Cork County Council already have a licence to draw 10,000 gallons a day from the Moore Park water supply system. The question of the transfer to the council of the entire system is at present under active consideration.
