Vol. 118 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laoighis Building Scheme.

asked the Miniister for Local Government if he will state the reason for the delay in the execution of the building scheme at Stradbally, Laoighis, and when the scheme is likely to commence.

Plans for a scheme of ten houses at Stradbally were prepared by the county council's architect. The council decided, however, that piped water and sewerage services should be provided for the new schemes and that the number of houses should be increased to 20 so as to meet the full estimated housing needs of the area. Revised plans are, accordingly, being prepared. At this stage it is not possible to say on what date the scheme will commence.
