Vol. 118 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Gift Turkeys.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state whether the restriction on the export of gift turkeys to specified relatives in Great Britain will result in a surplus of turkeys on the home market; and, alternatively, whether any precautions are being taken to ensure adequate supplies for the home market.

The answer to the first part of the question is "No," and as regards the second part the answer is that no precautions are necessary.
