Vol. 118 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Erection of Fever Hospital.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state (a) the date of selection of the site of a fever hospital at Blackditch, Clondalkin, County Dublin; (b) the total amount of architects' and legal fees paid in respect of this project, and (c) when work on the project will begin.

The proposed purchase of the Blackditch site was approved by the Minister for Local Government and Public Health on the 9th July, 1938. I am informed that the total amount of architects' fees and legal fees paid in respect of this project is £11,903 14s. 3d. Tenders for the work are being invited very shortly and taking into account the time allowed to-contractors to submit tenders and the time for the consideration of the tenders received work should commence early in the new year.

Will the Minister convey the information given to the House as to the amount of the architects' fees paid for this work to the Minister for Industry and Commerce?
