Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Commission Appeals.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the number of appeals heard by the Appeals Commissioners in each year from March 31st, 1932, to March 31st, 1949, inclusive, and from March 31st, 1949, to date.

The Appeal Tribunal held its first sitting on 27th April, 1934, and the number of appeals and applications heard by it each year, beginning with the year ended 31st March, 1935, is 453, 447, 293, 687, 217, 68, 139, 98, 68, 65, 22, 32, 40, 58 and 65. Since the 1st April last 129 appeals and applications were heard.
