Vol. 119 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clonbullogue (Offaly) Housing Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state what progress has been made in carrying out the local authority housing scheme at Clonbullogue, Offaly.

As indicated in replies to previous questions, this scheme was held up due to an appeal against the Offaly County Health District Labourers Order (Part III), 1927, in which the Clonbullogue site was included. Agreement has now been reached and the terms of settlement have been approved. Lay-out and house plans submitted for a scheme of 12 houses have also been approved and the local authority has been informed accordingly.
