Vol. 119 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Public Telephone for Castleknock (County Dublin).

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware of the necessity for a public telephone in the village of Castleknock which at present has no telephonic service after 7 p.m., and whether he will take steps to provide one.

I assume that what the Deputy has in mind is the provision of a telephone kiosk at Castleknock.

I regret that the use likely to be made of a kiosk at Castleknock would not be sufficient to justify the erection of one there.

There is a public telephone call office in the Castleknock exchange.

The exchange provides continuous service to subscribers.
