Vol. 119 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sale of Holdings.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state (a) the number of holdings and the acreage of land sold by private treaty or public auction by persons or their representatives to whom holdings were originally allocated, and (b) the original cost to the State of these holdings and the price received by tenants on resale.

It is not possible to furnish the information required by the Deputy. Vested allottees who sell their parcels are not required to furnish the Land Commission with details of the sales unless a subdivision is involved.
