Vol. 119 No. 7

Order of Business.

The Dáil will consider items 6 and 15. It is proposed to interrupt item 6 at 6 o'clock and, if item 15 lasts so long, to resume item 6 at 7.30. We shall take Private Deputies' Business at 9 o'clock.

What items will be considered when we take Private Deputies' Business?

If the Deputy looks at page 54 of the Order Paper, under the heading Private Deputies' Business, he will see what is set out there. I understand the Land (No. 2) Bill is not to be taken to-day. The Intoxicating Liquor Bill will, I presume, be taken. It may not take long and, when that is finished, we will go on to the Betting Bill, if that is being taken—I do not think it is. Then we turn to the list of Private Deputies' Motions and the number is 7. If that is not taken we will go on to No. 8. I have not been informed by Deputies whether they intend to go ahead with the motion.

Can we be sure of what is being taken in Private Members' time at 9 o'clock?

If private Deputies would inform the Chair. No. 18—the Intoxicating Liquor Bill— is being taken, and on No. 7, Deputy O'Reilly is prepared to go ahead with it.
