I have received the report of the Hospitals Commission on the local authority's application for a grant towards the cost of proposed renovations at Fermoy County Hospital. The report is at present under consideration in my Department.
I hope to be in a position to give a decision as regards the question of a grant from the Hospitals Trust Fund in the very near future and this decision will then be communicated immediately to the local authority.
