Vol. 120 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Bus Service.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will represent to Córas Iompair Éireann the necessity for a regular bus service for Fortfield Drive via Terenure, in view of the hardship inflicted on many children attending schools and on parents who shop in Terenure and who, for lack of such a service, have to walk long distances in all weathers.

I am informed by Córas Iompair Éireann that they consider this area is reasonably well served by public transport and that a new service as proposed would not be justified.
