Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laoighis-Offaly Road Workers.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the rates of wages paid to road workers in (1) Laoighis and (2) Offaly on April 1st, 1948, and the rates proposed to be paid from April 1st, 1950.

The rates are: 56/- per week in both counties on April 1st 1948, 65/- per week in Laoighis and 60/- per week in Offaly on 1st April, 1950. A revised rate of 65/- per week will come into operation in Offaly as from 3rd April, 1950.
