Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Customs Duties.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the total amount of customs duty collected during the year ended 31st March, 1950, on (i) clothing and apparel; (ii) motor car parts and accessories; (iii) oil (a) mineral hydrocarbon light, and (b) hydrocarbon, other sorts; (iv) spirits; (v) tobacco; (vi) sugar molasses, glucose, saccharin, sugar, etc., articles; (vii) wireless telegraphy apparatus.

As the answer to this question is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to have it circulated with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—
