Vol. 120 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Motor Hearse Taxation.

asked the Minister for Finance if in connection with the forthcoming Budget he will give sympathetic consideration to the question of releasing motor hearses from taxation.

Is the Parliamentary Secretary not aware that every member of the Coalition Government, every candidate who stood at the last election, gave an assurance to the motor hearse owners and their organisation that they would reduce the tax on hearses?

The cost of dying is still going up.
