Vol. 120 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Killeen Estate Applicants.

asked the Minister for Lands if in September, 1948, representations (M.L. 3765/48) were made to him on behalf of smallholders and landless men in the Parish of Kinnitty, Birr, Offaly, who are applicants for land on Knockbanon Hill, known as Killeen estate; and, if so, whether he will state what action has been taken in the matter.

The answer to the first part of the question is "Yes". The Land Commission decided to take no action for the present for the acquisition of estate.
