The number of houses erected by local authorities in County Kildare (a) between the passing of the two Acts mentioned, and (b) since the passing of the Act of 1948 was 2,083 and 36 respectively. The number of houses under construction on the 31st March, 1950, by local authorities in County Kildare was 339.
