Vol. 120 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Hospital Accommodation.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state the present position regarding the provision of an additional ten maternity beds attached to Killarney District Hospital.

The present position in regard to this project is that plans submitted to my Department have been approved, subject to some slight modifications, relating only to floor areas. A letter to this effect was issued to the local authority on 23rd March, 1950, and the local authority was informed at the same time that subject to acceptance of the suggested modifications preparation of contract documents should be proceeded with.
