asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that Dublin Corporation have completed the building of several houses of Howth housing scheme and if he will indicate the approximate date on which tenants will be selected for these houses.

I understand that none of the houses in the Howth housing scheme has yet been completed and that the period allowed under the contract for the completion of the scheme will not expire until the 28th August, 1950. I am informed that an examination of applications received for tenancies of the new houses is being carried out by the corporation.
