Vol. 121 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Waterford Postal Services.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he will arrange for the provision of a daily postal service in the townlands of Lyre, Grawn, Mahon Bridge, Grough, Comeragh, Briskey, Gortnalacht, Garahalish and Ballylynch, in the region of Kilmacthomas, County Waterford.

I regret that it is not practicable to provide a daily postal delivery in those districts at present, because of the considerable expense which would be entailed. I will have the matter re-examined when the area is surveyed in connection with the general reorganisation scheme of postal services.
