Vol. 121 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Application for Army Allowance.

Mr. Murphy

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the reason for the delay in dealing with the application of Mr. Daniel O'Leary, Glounacarna, Dunmanway, County Cork, for a special allowance under the Army Pensions Acts and if he will bring the case to a conclusion as quickly as possible.

There has been no unavoidable delay in dealing with the application for a special allowance under the Army Pensions Acts by Mr. Daniel O'Leary, Glounacarna, Dunmanway, County Cork. A decision to grant a special allowance to Mr. O'Leary has now been reached and payment will be made at a very early date.
