I presume this question relates to the Land Commission's powers of acquisition in regard to demesne lands. These powers are defined in Section 24, Land Act, 1923, as amended by Section 40, Land Act, 1936. In considering these sections, Section 3, Irish Land Act, 1903, and Section 35, Land Act, 1923, must be taken into account.
