Vol. 121 No. 15

Order of Business.

The order of business is as follows: Votes 27 and 28. It is proposed that the consideration of Government business be not interrupted to-day.

Did the Taoiseach say if there is to be any interruption of that order?

No. Just the two Votes.

I should like to give notice that at 6.30 p.m. this afternoon I shall move, in accordance with Standing Order No. 21, that the Dáil sit until 6 a.m. to-morrow morning.

A private Deputy may not so move. It is a matter for the Government.

According to Standing Order No. 21 I can move this on a Wednesday.

Will you bring in the private army?

There is no nonsense about this. I can so move before 8.30 this evening. I give notice to the House that I shall move that motion at 6.30. I hope everybody will be here to vote on it.

They have to be here.

Is the order of business not a matter for the Government?
