Vol. 121 No. 16

Questions— Oral Answers. - Killorglin Housing.

Mr. Flynn

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that in connection with the proposed housing scheme for Killorglin, the consulting architect forwarded completed plans, etc., to the Kerry county engineer on the 12th instant for his approval before advertising and whether he will ensure that there will be no undue delay in the matter in his Department.

I understand that the consultant architect very recently forwarded completed plans for the proposed Killorglin housing scheme to the county engineer, and that certain amendments have now been agreed upon.

I can assure the Deputy that so far as my Department is concerned the commencement of work on the scheme will be expedited in every way possible.
