Vol. 122 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Delivery of Letters from England.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will make arrangements for the delivery of mail letters from England in conjunction with the ordinary morning postal deliveries.

The morning deliveries in Dublin commence at 7 a.m. in the districts and 7.30 a.m. in the city. It would not be possible, therefore, to have correspondence received by the incoming night packet due in Dún Laoghaire at 7 a.m. included in these deliveries. Cross-Channel correspondence received by the night packet is, however, delivered in the city and districts generally commencing at 9.30 to 10 a.m.
