Vol. 122 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Egg Prices.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the price paid per dozen to producers of eggs in (a) the Six Counties, and (b) the Twenty-Six Counties in the years 1947-48, 1948-49 and 1949-50.

I have no responsibility regarding prices paid for eggs to producers in the Six Counties. The prices paid to our producers for eggs were equivalent to a minimum flat price per dozen of 2/4 in 1947-48, 3/- in 1948-49, and 2/7½ in 1949-50.
