Vol. 122 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Gort (Galway) Telephone Delays.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware that the present heavy delay on telephone calls from Gort, County Galway, is due in so small way to the fact that there is only one telephone line between Gort and Ennis, and if he will state when he will arrange for the provision of an additional line to ease the telephone traffic from Gort.

The need for a second line between Gort and Ennis is fully recognised, and it is hoped to provide an additional circuit between these places during the current financial year.
