Vol. 122 No. 9

Committee on Finance. - Vote 4—Central Statistics Office.

I move:—

That a sum not exceeding £62,570 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending the 31st day of March, 1951, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Central Statistics office.

There is an increase of £15,000 odd in this Estimate. Virtually all the increases come under the heading of salaries, wages and allowances. It was agreed last year that so far as the general procedure in this Department is concerned, it would be discussed on the Taoiseach's Estimate.

Vote put and agreed to.
