Vol. 123 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Killorglin Schools.

asked the Minister for Education if he has been made aware of the necessity for providing water-flushed sanitation at Killorglin Boys' and Girls' National Schools and if he will state what steps are being taken for the replacement of the existing latrines by new water closets.

I am aware of the need for improving the sanitary accommodation at Killorglin Boys' and Girls' National Schools, County Kerry, and my Department has now sanctioned a grant towards the cost of providing water-closets at the schools. The Commissioners of Public Works are accordingly being asked to make the necessary arrangements with a view to enabling the scheme to be carried out as soon as possible.
