asked the Minister for Local Government if he will indicate (1) the number of houses built by the local authorities in Cork county and county borough in each of the financial years from 1945-46 to 1949-50; (2) the number in course of construction; (3) the location of each scheme; (4) the amount of grants paid from the Transition Development Fund for each scheme and the amount per house, and (5) the dates of completion and dates of payment in each case.

In connection with column (10) of the statement, grants from the Transition Development Fund relate to schemes of houses and where a figure is stated as the amount of the grant per house the grants have been finally paid in respect of the schemes to which they relate. In all other cases the payments made represent payments on account. Where final payments of grants have been made the information available to the Minister at the time of payment was sufficient to warrant such payment.
Will the Minister say if he is sending any more money to Cork City?
That is a separate question.
