Vol. 123 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballydesmond (County Cork) Roads.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware of the necessity for steamrolling the village street in Ballydesmond, County Cork, and the main roads leading to it, and if he will make representations to have provision made for this urgent scheme.

The selection of road works to be executed in this area is a matter for the road authorities concerned. I understand that the Cork County Council do not intend to resurface the village street until the projected schemes for the provision of a water supply and a sewerage system have been completed.
