asked the Minister for Agriculture whether, in view of the condition of the pier at Dooneen, Old Head, Kinsale, County Cork, in respect of the total cost of the replacement of which Cork County Council have guaranteed to contribute 50 per cent., he will indicate the present position of the proposals for the carrying out of the work.

A decision has now been reached in favour of a State grant towards this improvement work and the Cork County Council are being informed accordingly.
